In the Dordogne

In the Dordogne there are actually daily small regional markets.

The nearest markets: in Issigeac there is a wonderful market on Sunday morning and in Beaumont the weekly market is held on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Issigeac

The Sunday market is an attraction. In summer it takes up almost the whole village and is an important event for the southern part of the Dordogne. It is a village of rich history and architecture, with many artists and craftsmen to visit. An example of this is Maison Champignon, or the mushroom house, so that the cars can drive underneath.

There are various guided tours through the city with lanterns. This can be done individually or with a group depending on the season.
