Beaumont and Perigord

The fortified city founded in 1272 has undergone many changes. The rich heritage will take you back to the Middle Ages. Discover the impressive fortified church of St Laurent and the gate of Luzier. There are marked hiking trails where you can explore the area on foot or on horseback.

St Avit Sénieur

In this place is a beautiful abbey church, where you can take a free walk every evening from 1 June to 30 September. This St Avit Sénieur is on the Unesco World Heritage List.

Gouffre de Proumeyssac

The Gouffre de Proumeyssac is also called the ‘crystal cathedral’ because of its immense underground vault decorated with a multitude of incrustations. This year the stalactite cave will be transformed into a ‘cathedral of light’. You can descend this cave on foot or spectacularly in an elevator.
